Queen Silvia presented the 2022 Queen Silvia Nursing Award to nursing students who had contributed innovative ideas to promote caring for the elderly and people with dementia. The 2022 scholarship winners: Jussara Otaviano, Juana Gallegos, Giedre Balciuniene, Sonja Meyers, Dominika Rachwał, Marie Svensson, Karoliina Tiura, Mia Kuusisto and Sara Rosenberg. The award ceremony took place at the Bernadotte Library.
On May 11, 2023, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the 2023 Crafoord Award ceremony at the Academy of Sciences in Stockholm. The Crafoord Award is one of the major international science prizes and is awarded jointly by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Crafoord Foundation in Lund.
