Danish Crown Princess Mary attended a conference organized by her foundation Mary Fonden (The Mary Foundation) that took place at Odeon Music and Theatre Hall in Odense. The conference named "Images of loneliness" was about loneliness and unhappiness among young people. The Crown Princess gave an opening speech.
The conference was attended by about 450 participants and had been created in collaboration between The Ebbefos Foundation and Mary Fonden with the aim of focusing on the mental well-being of young people.
During the conference, the Crown Princess attended a number of presentations and a conference panel that discussed four general dilemmas relating to loneliness among young people. At the conference, the Crown Princess also had the opportunity to meet the presenters and Mary Fonden's youth panel.
