On their second day in Wales, The Prince and Princess of Wales visited the Aberfan Memorial Garden to pay their respects to those who lost their lives during the Aberfan disaster. The Aberfan Memorial Garden sits on the site of the Pantglas school which was tragically destroyed in a coal-tip landslide on 21st October 1966. The incident led to the loss of 144 lives, including 116 children.
Zara printed long sleeve dress
Emily Mortimer Hera White Gold and Diamond Earrings
Mulberry Small Amberley Crossbody

Such a tragic event. It's good that they went to commemorate it.
ردحذفYes indeed !!
ردحذفThe baby with the handbag - too cute!
ردحذفCatherine is appropriately dressed.
Both William and Catherine were in appropriate attire for attending this event to remember those who lost their lives in such a tragic event.
ردحذفI have researched and read many articles about this tragedy. A terrible event that to this day, brings back memories of sadness. I am so glad the Royal couple visited.
ردحذفAppropriate outfit for this visit. It was such an unbelievably tragic event
ردحذفSmart dress down fashion. Correct for the occason.
حذفNot the right moment to talk about my dreams and a Mulberry bag so I'll leave it for another occasion.
Catherine is beautifully attired for visiting the Aberfan Memorial--I am so glad they made this stop. As the Prince and Princess of Wales this was probably such a meaningful visit to the people there. The baby and the purse is adorable!

It was the right occasion for wearing something so subdued. Even Catherine's hair looks, for once, like that of a mere mortal.

The "Royals" were very late attending at the time, now very early considering it happened in October. It would never have been allowed to happen in England even then. Still, thank you for calling by. Diolcj.
ردحذفNo need for quotation marks around Royals.
حذفThey weren't "very" late - and they have been to Aberfan on several different dates over the years. No-one has claimed it's an anniversary visit.
How do you know what would have happened? The Queen didn't wish to get in the way of the rescue work - why would that have been any different in England?
The word is Diolch.
I like the coat. I also can tolerate the dress. css
