On April 13, 2023, Queen Letizia of Spain attended the proclamation of the winners and the award ceremony of the "The Princess of Girona Foundation Award 2023" (FPdGi) at the Great Theater of Cordoba on the first day of the "Tour of the Talent" (Tour del Talento) event taking place in Cordoba between 13 and 19 April. The Queen presented the awards in the "Arts and Letters" category.
Tour del Talento is a new movement organized by The Princess of Girona Foundation and carried out by young people. For seven days, more than 50 events are being organized, including forums, 'talent sessions' and a top-level cultural program in the city for the weekend. The event aims to promote and connect young talents.

Very pretty dress. Nice colors and I am happy to see the small florals are being replaced with larger prints. The 80s style sleeves ar at least a bit moderat in size.

ردحذف1980's fashion, recycled yet again. I've often wondered, why does the Queen cross her arms so much? In many cultures this is a sign of disregard for the person or people you are communicating with. It could also be a sign of 'stay away' or protecting her inner self from the event she is engaged with at any given time. Could also mean she is chilly. She is very thin so maybe she is more affected by cold, cool, windy weather, though that wouldnt make sense when she is in a building watching a performance with her arms crossed. Something to think about.

By now we should have observed that the queen tries to include some aspect of the region, the event, or the weather in her choice of clothing.

ردحذفThis is a very pretty dress. The design of the dress is good, the fit and length I like but the pattern on the fabric is too much but that is my personal taste, the Queen looks beautiful wearing this dress. I love the pink accessories.

Harvesting, (assuming the material is natural) dyeing, weaving and transportation do leave a carbon footprint. Let's be serious here. Accusing one person where there is an extensive supply chain when getting a product to market, is taking a little knowledge and applying it selectively. Hypocritical, and unnecessary.
