Buckingham Palace has released three new portraits of King Charles and Queen Camilla, ahead of the coronation. The photos were taken in the Blue Drawing Room at Buckingham Palace last month by photographer Hugo Burnand. The Queen wears a blue wool crepe coat dress by Fiona Clare. The Queen wears the late Queen Elizabeth's pearl drop earrings set with a sapphire and ruby, and a pearl necklace from her private collection. The King and Queen's joint coronation ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey on 6 May.

Lovely photos. I know the Queen Consort (still the term used on the Royal family site for any objectors!) wears a lot of blue dresses but she really suits the colour. They both look wonderful. Roll on Coronation Day

حذفOh, it is photoshopped alright. Camilla's skin didn't smooth itself out. All professional photography is retouched to some degree. These were adjusted to a greater degree.

Queen Camilla looks great, and so does Charles, although his sitting position is awkward.

ردحذفA proven dress model and colour of the queen, which suit her. It's a pity of the colour of the pair of stockings though, as these are far too dark imo

Both look lovely it will be hard lots will be thinking of Princess Diana which is normal but it is King Charles and Queen Camilla even if it wasn’t Camilla it would have been someone else but it is what it is so blessings to them and their family

He's been preparing for this moment for many years and Camilla, weather we like her or not, with her eternal black boots, has done a remarkable job.
Fashion wise they are faithful to their own style and i like and appreciate that, they are not fashion models, plus they look appropriate for their age and role.
And yes, from time to time i express my likes and dislikes, but i believe they do deserve our support or silence these days, they have enough going on.
Looking forward for the coronation and hope we all enjoy it, is really an historical moment and we are luck to be witness (even long distance).of this day.

I was just thinking this very same point over the weekend. He's waited so long for this day, just let him enjoy it ,and let's see what all comes of it and his reign to follow, however long or short. He certainly seems like he wants to modernise the monarchy to current standards, so give him the chance to do so without criticizing him too much and too soon.

ردحذفThe dress looks terrible; it does not suit her, is there really a zip at the front of the dress?, she would be better to wear a suit, or a skirt with a bright jacket, the stockings are too dark and the shoes look awful. Her makeup looks nice and gives her face a bright appearance; the jewellry looks good. Charles looks good. God Bless the King and Queen. I am hosting a dinner on the eve of the Coronation.

Camilla looks very nice in her 'coat dress' uniform, she needs to stop wearing black stockings, skin colored stockings would be more appropriate, and yes the photos have been 'photoshopped' all photographers do it.

Too much photo shopping, in person, or out in public she has many more wrinkles on her face, maybe she keeps them and applies them for the general public (said with tongue in cheek).
