The second last photo is my favourite!
So nice to see them apparently enjoying a moment of unbridled humour. :)

The light-blue jacket is very nice, it suits the Empress. Unusual the second last photo, funny, relaxed, no formal protocole.

I wish Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako participate King Charles coronation ceremony in England. No Akishinomiya and kiko.

      I'm sorry if I misunderstood.
It is reported in Japan that there is a custom in England that the king and queen do not attend the coronation ceremony.

In addition, since the Crown Prince has attended the ceremony in the past, Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko are scheduled to attend this time as well.

There was a new report today that Their Majesties are scheduled to visit Indonesia in late June, so it would be better for Crown Prince Akishino to attend, considering coordination with domestic official duties.

How embarrassing! I mistook the sentence.
      NOT “Majesties” XD

It is customary for the Crown Prince and Princess from Japan to attend the coronation ceremony. Charles also attends the coronation of the current Emperor of Japan as the Prince of Wales(Crown Prince). The Imperial Household Agency and Emperor Naruhito have consulted and made similar decision.
Your comment is disrespectful to the Japanese Crown Prince and Princess.
The Imperial Household Agency has carefully explained this time. In the relationship between the royal families, there are many protocols. I hope you will understand between the lines of the Agency’s explanation.
And, I hope there is no comment on a national celebration with hatred towards anyone representing one's nation.
Let us wish King Charles and the British happiness and long-lasting friendship.

Most Japanese think that Princess Aiko, the only child of the emperor, should be the crown princess and attend the ceremony.

I am happy to see Princess Aiko going out for the first time this year, except for private. This family will also return to usual from the pandemic, Aiko will go to the University, and I am glad they have a good holiday before that.
The earrings looked like matching silver earrings - square-shaped for the mother and star-shaped for the daughter. They are lovely.

The family loves skiing. They would have wanted to go skiing.
This family's annual spring holiday was a ski trip in March instead of using the Emperor's villa, staying at a Chinese-funded luxury hotel in a ski area. But they couldn't do so due to the pandemic. They chose this location for this time. Perhaps they considered the people who have suffered economically due to the pandemic and inflation. I respect their decision.

I expect Princess Aiko will attend the garden party, which will resume in May after five years. We look forward to seeing Princess Aiko debut at the garden party in her spectacular kimono.
