It's a fabulous blazer! Agreed that she looks great. I like seeing her in this modern, simple look.

    5. Anon at 18:59. I'm glad that you still have your mother, I don't. But my mother would be 105 years old today, so perhaps better to her to be somewhere else.

What I don't understand is that you are saying Catherine doesn't know and understad anything. On the controry, for me she is a well educated woman who always respects others and know exactly what to say and where to stay.

That blazer is great, but the trousers should be wider. I don't like skinny trousers on her, they don't suit her imo.

As far as I know, POW is a college graduate and has gained decades of practical work experience after graduation. Among other things, in full-time and part-time jobs, employed or self-employed, internships,
also in the practical semester, working student jobs, student and vacation jobs, mini-jobs, project work and last but not least as a mother of three children.

    11. I am shocked as of the comment (yet again someone anonymous) posted at 18:59. Why speak with so much contempt? I can only but guess about the reasons but from whatever angle I regard the situation I cannot make out one thing that would justify such a nasty (and also unfounded) comment. It borders on hate-speech, sorry to say.

    1. Thank you Janet, and some others, for refreshing and sensible comments, incl some humor. Yes our world has changed and communication uses other channels. Catherine does her best in acting for a better world. I don't think she can be blamed for anything in her public life. (I am jealous of her blazer.)

Immaculate & elegant as always. Love Catherine's work. She is focussed & sees the project through from beginning to end. She doesn't jump from one cause to another. She thinks things through thoroughly. A very smart & intelligent woman. Mary

Catherine looks business ready in a blazer with unique pockets, though a blouse with a modified turtleneck/mock turtleneck, would have been interesting under the blazer, everything came together well. Edwina (PS: Q Max, take note, this is how it is done!)

@ Anonymous 21:11. You cannot compare the work of Queen Maxima with the little projects of Princess Catherine.

    2. To Anonymous 7.05 don’t understand why you have to put Catherine down for uplifting Maxima, both woman do there job with passion, we women shut stick together.

      It isn't a little project - it's a lifelong initiative. She isn't Princess Catherine.
Agree with Greet - why do you have tear one woman down to elevate another?

    4. Anonymous23/3/23 13:02

@ Greet. I could just say the same about Edwina who thinks Queen Maxima could take lessons from Princess Catherine. I am sure both royal ladies do the utmost to achieve their tasks like it should be. But I'm getting sick of bloggers who think there is only 1 royal lady who knows how to dress and how to do her job like it should be. Queen Maxima works hard, sometimes she takes a plane at Schiphol in the morning to assist a meeting in f.ex. Barcelona and on the same evening she is taking another plane to New York or Los Angeles. Maybe she doesn't have the time to show up each time like she comes straight from a beauty salon and to dress up like she wants. At least her work for the UN is important and she is achieving probably good results with it, taking into account the number of years she is doing this work.

Chique blazer. Unfortunately the pants are too tight and looks like a legging. Wider and longer pants and another top in a bright color would have looked better. Marcella

    1. For me the pants are ok for a young woman. Why always trying to be as classic as possible ? That is no longer an objective in our society.

Hair a bit shaggy;touching it all the time,so she needs a more finished style. The jacket is okay;the outfit looks more Sunday in the park with the kids;not business professional. The trousers look too tight .A one colour pants suit would look better.. A business task force for early childhood;what ever happened to the importance of play that I lectured on at University. Children are not little adults and they don't need to be indoctrinated. The royals aren't really the best people to be lecturing society on anything ;maybe they need to stick to cutting ribbons.(Tabby)

You've failed to understand the project - it's nothing to do with indoctrination of children and turning them into little adults. It's about the early years being important in development of fully rounded adults who will be contributing to society in the future. It's about how businesses can besupportive of the family life of their employees. Catherine is a huge advocate for the early years and the importance of play during that time. Perhaps you should listen to the "lecturing" rather than making assumptions.

    2. Tabby, that's not what this "Early Childhood/Shaping Us" project is about. And this is a perfect business attire. If someone would take a walk in the park with their family in this outfit, that person surely would get some odd looks.

If you lectured on the importance of play at University you would think you would be interested enough to inform yourself on this project instead of totally missing what it's about.

Sadly you have missed the point; all you Anon people. I suggest you watch the TV series 7UP;;and then tell me how; fully rounded future thinkers might be; scary as in this day and age parents are using IPHONES as baby sitters it used to be the TV; one nanny was castigated as the children spoke like Donald Duck. I'm not quite sure what park you might go too but at my park, smart casual is the go. Who take's advice from the Royals? (Tabby)

Another £2,000 on a McQueen jacket barely different from the other almost identical McQueen jacket (only worn twice, also over £2,000). I guess the ‘difference’ is cream versus off-white. Totally worth the splurge.
