On March 1, the Prince and Princess of Wales attended the annual St. David's Day parade in Windsor. This was the first time that Prince William visited The Welsh Guards since becoming honorary Colonel of The Welsh Guards, fitting with his new title of the Prince of Wales. King Charles III announced the new title for his eldest son and heir in December.
Attendance to The Welsh Guard's annual parade on 1 March is a long-standing royal tradition. St. David is the patron saint of Wales. In Wales, March 1 is a day of celebration of both St David’s life and of the Welsh culture.

With the colour combination of the red coat, the Guards, their helmets etc, one couldn't be anywhere else other than in England.
I wish we could see the brooch better...it looks fantastic; I think it is meant to be a leek and a Daffodil bud - both symbols of Wales, and especially on St. Daffyds Day. Meanwhile, we're munching on homemade Welsh cakes with a cup of hot tea over here.. :)

حذفI like that the hem of the coat was altered from the original. That asymmetrical hemline ... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. For me, this coat looks better without it.

Her hat looks fabulous, noting the significance of this event, the hat elevates the overall look, which I love. The brooch, is a great added bonus. Love the bag and boots.
