King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip, Princess Sofia, Princess Christina and Tord Magnusson attended the opening of the anniversary exhibition "Vasa to Bernadotte, 1523 –1973 –2023. Culture in Service of the Realm" at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
This year is a double jubilee, marking 500 years since Gustav Vasa was elected king in 1523 – ushering in a new era that shaped modern Sweden – and it is also King Carl XVI Gustaf’s 50th jubilee. The Royal Court of Sweden is commemorating this anniversary with the most comprehensive exhibition ever staged at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.

An even better view of Queen Silvia's dress, excellent! Love the addition of the brooch, the dress is a great length for her. The bag and shoes are a nice color and blend in well with the overall look of her ensemble.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the color change of shoes and clutch for CP Victoria, the Navy color IMO looks a lot better.
I am not so keen on Pss Sofia's dress, the hemline I don't like.

DeleteThis dress is a really lovely color for Victoria—not sure if it’s pale blue or a touch lavender, but it works. I also like Sofia’s deep red dress and that her hair color looks more natural lately with richer and more blended tones.

ReplyDeleteLove Sofia's modern dress. Colour of Victoria's dress is wonderful but the model, maybe because of the length, makes it kind of boring. And Victoria and Sylvia both could use another hairdresser.
ReplyDeleteSame day as the previous post on lunch and same dresses. The Queen looks great in a well fitting dress. Viktoria’s dress is way too long. Accentuates her already rather short legs. I don’t like Sofia’s dress at all. The color is dull and the valance at the bottom ugly.

ReplyDeleteLovely spring colours for Silvia & Victoria, the Queen looks particularly smashing! Victoria could've gone for a little pop of colour or a hair accessoire or something, but it's a nice look nonetheless. Sofia is okay, but didn't get the spring memo :D

ReplyDeleteCP Victoria is lovely as is her outfit. Sophie's dress needs to have that flouce taken off, detracts from the overall effect, as do the platform dated look of her shoes. The Queen is as always, lovely. Edwina

The RL at their best once again. I must say the king looks good in the black Tux,. The surgery the King had seem to have done what was expected. He looks so much happier. css
ReplyDeleteI do wish Silvia would wear a better bra. The "girls" need better support which in turn would make her outfits fit and look better.
