Queen Mathilde and Crown Princess Elisabeth are making a three-day working visit to Egypt between 14 and 16 March. The visit is made as part of the historical interest of the Royal Family in ancient Egypt and is a tribute to Queen Elisabeth, whose interest and passion is at the origin of the flourishing of Egyptology in Belgium.
Queen Mathilde and Crown Princess Elisabeth have arrived in Cairo, the capital of Egypt. On the first day of their visit, the Queen and Crown Princess attended the opening of the exhibition "Queen Elisabeth" at Baron Empain Palace.
Elisabeth, who died in 1965 at the age of 89, was queen of Belgium as the wife of King Albert I from 1909 to 1934. This year marks 200 years since hieroglyphs were first deciphered by Jean-François Champollion, as well as the 125th anniversary of Belgian Egyptology and the 100th anniversary of the Queen Elisabeth Egyptological Association.
Queen Mathilde and Crown Princess Elisabeth will visit the tomb of the Pharaoh Tutankhamun, among other places.
It seems Armani is the Pss's favorite Designer. She and her mother both looks very lovely. Elisabeth's earrings are. big and need to be seen. Hope they enjoy this trip together. css

She has plenty of time to wear real jewelry, besides she wore real jewelry several times but not now. Since she and her maman are good clients at Armani maybe she received the earrings as a present. By the way her handbag is the "Mini Arch" a Belgian brand called "Kaai".

CP Elisabeth looks gorgeous. If I was 40 years younger and the same amount lighter it would be my dream outfit. Queen Mathilde. At least it fits her for a change but otherwise meh! Maybe if she throughs it in a dye bath in a bright colour it would look much better.
