On March 23, 2023, King Abdullah and Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan hosted an iftar for family members at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman. Queen Rania published a series of photos her Instagram account, from family Iftar on the first day of the month of Ramadan. She wrote: "Grateful to be sharing Iftar on the first day of the holy month with people we love"
i like it when she wears traditional Jordanian like outfits, she looks amazing. But she needs to go easy with the face cosmetics before she becomes unrecognisable.

حذفDuring the month of Ramadhan, Muslims who practice Islam fast from sunrise to sunset. This means that they do not eat or drink anything from the moment the sunrises in the morning, until it sets in the evening for 29 to 30 days (there are exceptions for the very young, the elderly and those who are sick).
However as soon as the sun sets in the evening, they are allowed to eat and drink with joy, music, dancing etc. and this 'feasting' or 'breaking of the daily fast' is known as "Iftar". On the first evening it is a special celebration and this is what the King and Queen are celebrating with family members and close friends.
