Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary attended the Danish business promotion campaign’s concluding reception. With the title "Denmark and Tamil Nadu – Partners for Sustainable Growth", the Crown Prince couple and the accompanying Danish business delegation celebrated Denmark’s long-time engagement in Tamil Nadu.
After the reception, the Crown Prince Couple attended a dinner at the Hotel Grand Chola Chennai, which marked Danish company Grundfos’ 25th anniversary in India.

Non, c'est une habitude de longue date qui est plutôt fait en l'honneur du pays qui reçoit. Et on est loin du sari, donc il s'agit de montrer que les tissus et la culture du pays sont jugés beaux et de les mettre à la mode dans son propre pays.

حذفLily, I don’t think that the clothing Mary wears will offend, but rather be in keeping with the advice they will have sought months in advance to ensure the visit is as perfectly agreeable to hosts and visitors as possible. In my personal experience too, in business travel to over 50 different countries, my hosts are delighted if I incorporate something of their culture in my dress, and I have found it especially so when I’m South Asia.

حذفLily T., This is a re-wear and it was not criticized when it was worn at a non-Indian event as being to Indian, yet when she wears it to an Indian event it is cringe worthy. It does not take much to make you cringe. How about poverty or abuse for starters!

It's a beautiful - and balanced - fusion of ethnic inspired fabric and western dress style, perfect for blending in nicely with her hosts without being conspicuous in either direction. Furthermore, this dress could be equally suitable at any party at Amalienborg or Fredensborg Palace, and Mary wears it very well.
