Crown Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg gave birth to her second son. On March 27, 2023, Crown Prince Guillaume and Crown Princess Stephanie have announced the birth of their second child. The newborn Prince will be named Francois Henri Luis Marie Guillaume. The Prince weights 3.575 kg and measures 53 cm. Crown Princess Stephanie and her child are both healthy and well.

Crown Prince Guillaume and Crown Princess Stephanie welcomed their first child in 2020. Their son, Prince Charles, was born on May 10 that year in the Grand Duchess Charlotte Maternity Hospital in Luxembourg.

      I agree with your words and many others on this article. I hardly dare write something a bit less positive, but I will try : I wish the new dad would take more care of his shape and hence his weight... for the benfit of his whole family.

    Very happy news! But there is no crown princess in Luxemburg. Her correct title is Hereditary Grand Duchess.

      I would agree with you, but the palace itself speaks of the crown prince and crown princess in the press release about the birth https://monarchie.lu/en/birth-hrh-prince-francois

      So I guess we both were wrong ;-)

      In any case Prince Jean the newborn baby's great grandfather was a prince and his great grandmother was a princess. Their title as reigning noble people over the "Grand Duché du Luxembourg" are "Grand Duc" and "Grande Duchesse". Both titles are passed to their children and grandchildren. So it is Prince Henri who is Grand Duc now and after him it will be Prince Guillaume. The wives become Princess by marriage and they receive the title of Grande Duchesse when their husband become Grand Duc.
