On Thursday, February 2, 2023, Queen Letizia of Spain attended an event of AECC (The Spanish Association Against Cancer) at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid that was held in connection with the celebration of "World Cancer Day 2023". The initiative "Todos contra el Cáncer" was also presented at the event.
For the event, the AECC of Madrid organized a program of activities in order to raise awareness about the disease in the society, where municipalities, companies and different social and health groups collaborated. Queen Letizia is honorary president of the AECC.
