Queen Jetsun Pema held a prayer ceremony at Grand Kuenrey of the Tashichhodzong and lighted a thousand butter lamps for those affected by the earthquakes that struck Turkey and Syria earlier this week. More than 21,000 people have lost their lives, and millions more have been affected by the disaster. The ceremony was held in memory of the victims as an expression of solidarity with the people of Turkey and Syria.
