On the occasion of the new year, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium held the traditional New Year's reception for the members of the diplomatic corps (ambassadors and consuls) accredited in Brussels and their partners at the Royal Palace on January 12, 2023 in Brussels. Queen Mathilde's outfit is from Belgian fashion house Natan.
I am sorry to say that I don’t think this is very flattering. Especially not the color of that top. It could pass with a summer tan but now in winter time with winter pale skin it doesn’t look good.
ردحذفI use to think that one should not be too demanding, particularly if the royal ladies need to change their wardrobe very often. However longer sleeves might well be more appropriate for a winter outfit.

I like the boat neck of the top from the front but find it too low in the back. It is hard to say anything about the skirt as we lack a from view. I don't like the material of the skirt. Looks like one of Nathan´s upholstery fabrics. Ladyofthemanor

ردحذفExcept for what looks like pink shoes, I think this is a lovely outfit for the Queen. The top appears to be heavy satin and is quite flattering, and the skirt is perhaps brocade. The colors coordinate very well.

حذفI like the top from the front but I would have done a twist with the back and worn a necklace backwards to fill in that bare skin and add some surprise interest. ;)

ردحذفI love this outfit, the color is appealing to me, love the contrasting color of her shoes. The skirt is interesting, the long straight skirt and looks to be heavily patterned fabric, very effective. Her hairstyle looks fabulous.
ردحذفI love the skirt and I like the top. I think I would like the top more had it had longer sleeves. The colors and fabrics are beautiful and Mathilde looks wonderful!
