At the lunch, a German-inspired menu made from surplus food was served. Stop Wasting Food movement Denmark (Stop Spild Af Mad) is Denmark’s largest non-profit movement against food waste, and initiated the fight against food waste in Denmark.

  1. La princesse Marie est encore sur le pont. Bon choix que d'avoir associé la couleur camel et le noir mais je voudrais quand même mieux voir son sautoir trop caché sous sa veste cintrée !

A very minimal look for P. Marie. It seems a but lackluster for a luncheon. I much prefer the outfit of the ambassador ( or is she the ambassadors wife?). (V.M )

No it is not the Ambassador’s wife. It is Selina Juul, the Founder of the Stop Wasting Food movement Denmark (Stop Spild Af Mad) and collaborator of HRH Princess Marie for many years. She and the Princess published a cookbook together. She is the co-host of the Lunch.

  4. I like the color combination of this outfit, especially the camel jacket, it fits well. The necklace is of substance and looks interesting. She looks lovely.

I so admire Princess Marie in many ways, but in this case, her impeccable sense of style. To some her outfit may be lackluster, but to me, it is perfect, especially the flattering color combinations. She radiates a quiet confidence -- nothing bold, flashy, flowery or ill fitting. Just simplistic perfection.

Luncheon? It seems more like The Last Supper...
The news are that HRH Princess Marie and family are moving to USA in 2023. They won't be coming back to Denmark.
This is probably one of her last official events in Denmark.

I would have preferred to see the turtleneck dispensed with and a square or even v neck top. I think the covered neck makes the overall look too severe.
Otherwise a fine outfit for this luncheon. The trousers are beautiful in fabric, style and cut and the material falls perfectly on Princess Marie.

  9. It’s black with a tan jacket. Not quite rocking the world. She looks okay.
