On December 9, 2022, Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the 2022 Christmas Ball of The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation in the Belle Epoque Hall at the Hermitage Hotel in Monaco. The evening, organized to support The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, took place under the theme 'Italia Chic'.
An auction, organized by Sotheby's, raised funds for the Foundation and its projects that aim to prevent drowning and to educate children through the values of sport. Established on December 14, 2012, the Foundation has a goal of saving lives by fighting drowning. Its missions are to raise public awareness of the dangers of water, to teach children about preventive measures and teach them how to swim.
