Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Crown Prince Haakon of Norway attended UNDP's reception at Trine Hotel in Nairobi. Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Victoria's visit to Kenya aims to support Kenya’s efforts to combat effects of climate change through the conservation and planting of mangroves, as well as a new project to handle plastics waste.

That's a beautiful beaded necklace
ردحذفIt is a traditional Masaai necklace, usually handmade.
حذفThe beads, colours and patterns are all significant to the purpose of the occasion in a traditional Masaai's life for which the necklace was made.
Some are purely decorative as these ones might be.
I have two displayed on a wall here in my house that were gifted to me from when I spent time there.

Lovely necklace, a lovely tribute to the hosts, I wish she had worn a plain dress atleast on the upper section to create a contrast with the necklace.
ردحذفI like how victoria interacts with other royals, they are family. The necklace disappears in her floral dress, I suppose it was a gift and a last minute add on.
