i read that her husband doesn't like shaking hands. Bless her for these solo trips to places were most British royals don't go to and her dresses blend in well with the society.

That's because he doesn't want to catch covid.

  2. Très jolie couleur bleu-azur de cette robe étagée en popeline de coton qui est un tissu qui est idéale pour cette visite d'un pays chaud mais toujours les mêmes chaussures ? Les mêmes en blanc auraient peut-être été parfaites !

  3. The first dress is another holiday dress and looks out of place. The second one is a much better choice, but still relatively low-key.

No, it's just a summer dress suited to being out and about in the tropics.

Anon 20:43. Edward's not shaking hands has nothing to do with "Covid", he has been that way for years. Princess Anne is the same. Both of them won't do it unless there's a good reason. With so many people waiting to see them, Edward says "if you shake one hand you have to shake them all", so he doesn't shake hands. Not everything is due to "Covid". *Regina

I like the black dress with the border better than the blue one, the blue a bit too casual. How long is the tour to Africa?, she is there for some days already. css

Like the blue dress and though it’s so long, it’s appropriate here. Less keen on the patterned dress but most impressed at how she manages to keep the shawl in place. Wish I could do that!

  7. Those dresses are perfect for a hot climate. Long enough you don't need stockings, loose enough to be comfortable.

Her clothing is appropriate in style and length, that goes with the culture. Sophie is always open with her emotions towards others and takes into consideration their customs. God Bless her for her work. Anne

No to the blue dress, it lack shape and structure, it looks like something you would wear to go to the grocery store. The little I can see of the dark blue one, looks rather interesting.

I really like her black appliqué dress, but the blue one looks great on her too. I'm just curious who hired this model. (She can't stand straight, looks like she has no breasts)). At least this dress looks nice on Sophie.

The model will be standing as directed by the photographer. Some women don't have large breasts - not a reason for them to not be hired for a job.

The navy (black) maxi dress is lovely. The print in the front is African inspired.
Unfortunately, countess Sophie never choose the right accessories (white shawl, shoes) so that the whole picture doesn't look good anymore.

She isn't countess Sophie, she Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

  12. I like the blue dress, but can anybody tell me what Edward (royal by birth) does all the time while Sophie goes on solo tours?
