  1. Rather like the pants, but that shade of green has never been my favourite. But the colours work together. Perhaps boots would have been a better way to go, considering the time of the year. - Ellie

  3. I like all the items separately, not sure if they go super well together. I feel like there's an element missing that ties the colour story together - maybe green shoes or a brooch/necklace that mirrors the Valentino pumps?

    1. @-Nika-I thought the same thing that a necklace or a brooch would be the feather on the cap!

  4. Great look from CP Mary--especially with that gorgeous emerald green blazer adding a pop of color. I wish she had worn her green Valentino pumps that are identical to the black ones she is wearing. But she is looking very stylish and very pretty no matter what.

  5. Hmmm…. strange combo the Celine grey trousers and the green jacket. The colors and the fabric are not a perfect match for me. Cp is always so stylish and her choices are always perfect but this time I am not so sure.

    1. I agree about the colour/fabric matching. It´s not a bad combination as such, but the green is very dark and saturated, whereas the gray is bright and mottled. A darker, solid gray would have worked better, but I do like the trousers as such - with a white or cream top (blouse or turtleneck) they would look fantastic.

  7. I would wear the trousers with a fitted black light wool top short enough to show the waste line of the trousers combined with black boots. The green jacket, shoes bare feet or light nylons look wrong even if it is warm for the season. I think the shoes Mary is wearing look outdated.

  8. This is a lovely outfit. I particularly love the green jacket. I like the color combination of green and black, but not combing grey with it. The outfit needs a necklace and the jacket needs a brooch. The overall look appears lacking. Regardless the CP looks fabulous. I love her hair-tired back in pony tail.

  9. Pity there's not a full length photo of Princess Mary standing so that we can get a better look at the combination. The mariage of the blazer and the pants, IMO,
    don't go well together.

  10. The wide trousers and jacket do not seem to be a match well made. Wide pants on petite women always look strangely odd. Anne
