This year, the central event of the WCRD 2022 (World Cancer Research Day 2022) took place in New York on September 21 under the presidency of Queen Letizia as Honorary President of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) and the Spanish Association Against Cancer Scientific Foundation (AECC FC).
Queen Letizia first held a meeting at the headquarters of the Cervantes Institute in New York, with Spanish researchers in the fight against cancer, as part of the celebration of "World Cancer Research Day" (September 24th).
Thereafter, Queen Letizia of Spain attended the central event of the "World Cancer Research Day", together with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, which took place at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in New York. Ahead of World Cancer Research Day, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Queen Letizia’s visit focused on the importance of cancer research and global cooperation in the effort to end cancer.
Her wardrobe for this visit is exquisite so far.

Queen Letizia's Ralph Lauren dress is gorgeous and, as always, she wears it well. The dress is not fussy but still elegant. Mrs. Biden's dress, also white, is not as successful, in my opinion. It is fussy. It's not bad; it's just not great. Both ladies seem to enjoy each other's company, and seem happy to be involved with this worthwhile program.

ReplyDeleteI often don't like pleated skirts but RL has taken point-collar shirt style and combined it with elegantly pleated skirt, so the end result is fluid, clean and pretty. Nothing overdone or underwhelming. Well choosen.

What an exquisite dress, love the pleated skirt and the camel shoes are fantastic, another win for the queen!. Ms. Biden looks appropriate as usual, not my favorite dress, but somehow she makes it work.

ReplyDeleteYou cannot compare the outfit of the two ladies. They both looked very well dressed to me. Of course most prefer Q. Letizia's dress, but she is younger than Jill Biden. I like Jill Biden's dress as well. She wears it well. I think many women who have Jill Biden's age would love to look like her.
