Last week, Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway attended a private birthday party at the Norwegian Students' Rowing Club in Oslo. The birthday party was held on the occasion of the 60th birthday of Per Høiby (brother of Crown Princess Mette-Marit). At the birthday party, Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a ruffle trimmed silk blend maxi dress by The Vampire’s Wife.

Haakon obviously sang a serenade, how nice! They both look lovely, this navy blue colour looks good on them. The "vampires wife"-brand seems to be in fashion, I remember Duchess Catherines famous green gown.

Yes; Coralie this brand is obviously popular among royals but I must say that I dislike every single item of this brand. MM looks fabulous nevertheless.

A private party - thus the photos should not have been taken! But the couple looks wonderful and appearing to be in good spirits. Love the CP's dress. I would have chosen a different purse, but she is NOT on duty for this event.

@ Virginia Dogwood. When someone is on the street or step out of a car on the public road, you cannot avoid that a photo is made. Today everyone has a smartphone, a photo is made before you know it. Not every famous or royal person have a problem with that. They smile to the camera and continue quick their way and everybody is happy.
حذفThis is the same dress I think Duchess Kate has in emerald green. I cannot see it very well if CP Mette Marit's dress is navy or black. Her shoes don't go at all with the dress nor does her handbag. Is CP Haakon brought his guitar with him ? I wish them a fine party.

MM has at least 4 vampire dresses. She used exactly the same shoes to this dress the last time we saw her in it. Love the combo.

ردحذفI just don’t like this dress. It looks like a shiny dark sack and reminds me of a plastic garage bag. I hope The Vampire’s Wife trend ends soon. But they are a nice couple and I hope they had a good time at the party.
