On July 15, 2022, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia attended a state ceremony held to commemorate the victims of the coronavirus pandemic and to honour those public servants who have been fighting on the front line against the pandemic. The ceremony took place in Plaza de la Armería at the Royal Palace of Madrid.

Lovely navy dress by Carolina Herrera. This color looks successful lately with all the remembering ceremonies. I like particularly the sleeves and the seems on the bodice. A good idea to wear cognac shoes and handbag instead of navy. It is not too dark for the summer and is still appropriate. Maybe QMathilde should have done that too yesterday.

Gran acierto en el bolso y los zapatos color camel y, por supuesto, sus preciosas aguamarinas. El recorte del pelo también es un éxito, así como el leve maquillaje. PERFECCIÓN.

ردحذفThis is a absolutely gorgeous dress. The sleeves and bodice are interesting. Love the length of this dress, the color is divine. The accessories, shoes and clutch, are a beautiful shade and blend well. The Aqua and diamond earrings are stunning, I love these earrings, especially when the Queen wears the attached aqua drop.

ردحذفNothing is ever perfect, though the Queen has a nice dress, not sure I like the purse and shoes with the outfit. I wonder if the king was hot, had a headache or was stressed in someway with the photo of him rubbing his temples. jj
ردحذفIt must be hard to be a king or a queen these days. He cannot rub his eyelids or some camera saw it and by consequence people have already their conclusions. Headache, stress ?? Maybe he needed sunglasses but couldn't wear them because of the ceremony. The media live from that sort of comments. If nobody reacts anymore to something quite normal, they have nothing to write about and the king and queen will have less stress.
