On June 2, 2022, Queen Mathilde and Princess Eleonore of Belgium attended the fourth session of the final of the Queen Elisabeth Cello Competition 2022 at the Brussels Centre for Fine Arts (BOZAR). Each day, two of the 12 finalists take the stage. On June 2, Bryan Cheng and Oleksiy Shadrin performed during the final and were accompanied by the Brussels Philharmonic under the baton of Stéphane Denève.
The sessions of the final will take place until Saturday, 4 June, when, after the last performance, the jury will announce the winner of the 2022 Queen Elisabeth Cello Competition. The Queen wore a new metallic leather applique jacket by Giorgio Armani.

ردحذفPrincess Eleonore looks more and more like her father King Phillipe, when he had about the same age. Love her dress by Maje. This brand has lovely dresses for young women. Princess Elisabeth had also 2 dresses by the same brand. I love Queen Mathilde's metallic leather appliqué jacket by Giorgio Armani. Although we cannot see much of the dress she is wearing underneath, it looks like it is beautiful too. I like the soft rose gold color a lot. This is a color that suits Queen Mathilde very well.
ردحذفEleonore is blossoming very quickly into one of the prettiest young Princesses in Europe. She is tall and willowy like her big sister Elisabeth, but has a more delicate classic beauty.

The jacket is lovely, hard to make out the dress, regardless she looks beautiful Pss Eleonore looks delightful, her dress is very becoming and age appropriate. I love the subtle necklace. How lovely mother and daughter were able to attend together.
ردحذفI agree that Princess Eleanore favors her father but she shares features of her mother too. She is a beautiful young lady. Hard to believe she is 14 already. Queen Mathilde looks fabulous in this Armani jacket. Wish we could see the rest of her ensemble. (Debra)

ردحذفI hope Eleanor will eventually take over the Queen Elisabeth competition from her mother. She has musical talent and it seems like a nice job for her.
She cannot have a job yet, she is only 14 years old. Queen Fabiola passed the "job" of the Queen Elizabeth competition to Queen Paola and Queen Paola passed to Queen Mathilde. So there is time enough to pass it to Princess Eleonore.
