On June 21, Queen Elizabeth received the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at Windsor Castle. In this Platinum Jubilee year of the Queen, in a special ceremony, the Archbishop presented The Queen with a special 'Canterbury Cross' in recognition of her service to the Church of England for more than seventy years.
The Canterbury Cross is usually handed out during the Lambeth Awards and is only awarded to those who have shown outstanding service to the church.

The Queen seems very happy and vivacious. She is always immaculate in her attire ..even though Prince William’s henchman Jason Knauf launched a bullying complaint on behalf of palace staff who then asked for the complaint to be rescinded. Then during the ‘bullying’ investigation Jason Knauf broke his NDA to pass emails and texts to the Mail on Sunday. Mary

While I'm delighted to see the Queen, I'm slightly dismayed to see that she has lost so much weight. However that said, she is looking very good and appears to be in fine spirits which is the important thing. I love her dress and the beautiful floral print is fresh and summery. Congratulations to her Majesty on receiving this deserved award.

I have thought for several weeks that she has had noticeable weight loss. That may be a combination of pain and still having a grieving mindset from the loss of Prince Philip. -Laura
