European royals gathered at the Royal Palace in Oslo to celebrate the 18th birthday of Princess Ingrid Alexandra. Before the gala dinner, new photos were taken, one of which shows four future Queens of Europe and a future Grand Duke. Princess Catharina-Amalia of the Netherlands, Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, Princess Estelle of Sweden, Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Charles of Luxembourg.
The gala dinner also became the first tiara moment for Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Princess Catharina-Amalia and Princess Elisabeth. Princess Ingrid Alexandra wore a purple dress and the Boucheron Circlet Pearl Tiara, which originally belonged to her great-great-grandmother Princess Ingeborg of Sweden. While Princess Estelle wore a floral headband that matched her blue dress. Princess Catharina Amalia wore the Dutch Star Tiara while Princess Elisabeth wore a sparkler that hasn't been seen before.
A photo showing Princess Ingrid Alexandra with her grandparents, parents and siblings was also taken. King Harald, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Queen Sonja, Marit Tjessem, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Crown Prince Haakon, Prince Sverre Magnus and Marius Borg Høiby.
In the Small Hall of the Royal Palace, a photo showing the Norwegian Royal Family with their royal guests from abroad was taken.

حذفThe pictures are all pre-banquet, and that is because petite Prince Charles did not attend the dinner but then had to go to bed (a nanny provided, I guess). So the major photography was done before.
حذفQueen Sonia is usually attributed very positive comments on her clothing style, IMV the choice of this garish yellow is not good. It looks as if she wanted to draw the attention on herself.

Ingrid Alexandra in a simple minimal look, Elizabeth in a feminine, ruffled confection, and Catharina Amalia in an elegant caped gown (worn with a spectacular diamond necklace!). In spite of the stylistic differences it’s great to see how natural and beautiful they all are. Yes there’s makeup, but it’s subtle. This is a lovely portrait of future monarchs. (V.M.)

حذفI just read the translation of Pss I Alexandra's speech. It was articulate, heartfelt and moving. It reinforces how wonderful, impressive and what a real asset she is. The photos are beautiful, the young royal ladies all looked splendid. Little Prince Charles, what a delight he is, adorable little one. Pss Estelle, she is growing up beautifully.
