On May 4, 2022, The Duchess of Cambridge handed out the Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design at an event hosted by the British Fashion Council at the Design Museum in London. The award is given for the purpose of recognising the cultural and trade role that British design has played during the reign of the Queen.
Every year, this award is presented by Royal ladies. In 2019, Duchess of Cornwall handed out the award, while it was presented by Princess Anne in 2020, and last year was the turn of Countess of Wessex. The Duchess wore a belted dress from Canadian designer Edeline Lee.

Beautiful dress in a nice colour with an eye-catching belt, but I don't like the ribbons on the sleeves. To me these ruin a perfect look.

Agree re fabulous colour and shape of dress. The ribbons would certainly annoy me, but they make the dress a little more modern which is what we often ask for on this blog.
حذفBeautiful color on Kate but the bows/ribbons on her elbows would drive me crazy with their flapping around. She is a very pretty woman though the central part in her hair isn't the best look.

حذفI agree, above all I appreciate the change of the look. I don't mind the ribbons on the sleeves. Remember she wouldn't do the cooking with that dress, so they will not be disturbing.

This is a lovely dress, the neckline is different, I like it. The ribbons on the sleeves are a real distraction and serve no purpose. Regardless the outfit looks modern and edgy. I love the shoes and clutch choice, perfect. The earrings look fabulous. Her makeup looks good, natural. She looks beautiful.

I think I'm the only one who thinks this is just .... Not good at all. The sleeves, the buckles, the seaming, the fabric, the shoes and bag that don't match the dress but also don't provide enough contrast, nothing. I think Catherine was trying too hard amongst these fashion people.

ردحذفAdd me to the glee club! I think this is a smashingly modern dress and Kate looks smashing in it. As someone said, there's a very modern vibe to her look and I see it especially in the second last photo. I'm very glad that she didn't wear the 'ear decorations' that the model is sporting, lol.

I like the color, the cut of the skirt on the bias/cape& the collar, I don't like the silly ribbons, the double belt buckle and I am on the fence about the fabric. Nice earrings and predictable shoe color. Not a bad outfit, but nothing special.

It has been said here already. The ribbons at the sleeves not bad but a bit too long. Two belt buckles not flattering. I'm getting the impression that Kate is copying the hairstyle of Mary of Denmark. Two days ago at the official dinner for the prime minister of India, Mary had exactly the same hairstyle, or is it Mary who is copying Kate and/or Letizia.
