On April 25, 2022, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Anzac Day Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey. The Duke and Duchess met with guests, including the Australian High Commissioner, at the Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving. The Anzac Day is a day of remembrance that commemorates the first major battle involving Australian and New Zealand forces during World War I.

The Duchess has always looked great in this coat. Like the pairing of it with black accessories and the gorgeous pearl earrings. Undecided about the hat. Would it have been better as a proper hat? In any case, a great look overall.

حذفI don't know about "modern." Looks a lot like an old school Jackie Kennedy "pill-box" to me with the exception being the bow detail in the back. From the front straight on it looks like a kokoshnik.

ردحذفI've always liked this simple chic dress that Kate always wears so well (size, style and shape) but today the star for me is her headband/head gear. Love it from behind, with the black bow. Very sharp and sophisticated.

I don't like the headpiece/headband on Kate and I don't like it in general on any princess or queen or any woman. When I looked at it in the front I thought immediately at the headpiece of a nurse uniform from about 50 years ago. I prefer a beautiful hat not too big, not too small.

ردحذفThe dress always flatters her and I like it very much. But this time I don't like the headpiece. Its shape or the way she had put it on her head makes her face looking like a square and too puffy. That gives the whole look a sort of dowdy impression.

حذفAlthough I really like this kind of headgear, it's not for Kate this time. It makes her head long and she doesn't look so good in general this time. The dress, which we have seen on her at least 4 times, looked better on her in other combinations with hat, bag and shoes at that time. Frieda
حذفWasn't and still am not a fan of the pointy collar of the dress the DoC is wearing. The headpiece is nice, but the soft curves 'collide' with the edges of the collar in my opinion. Fitting is perfect and the soft white suits the duchess very well.
