On Thursday 21 April 2022, Queen Sonja of Norway opened the Sámi pavilion at the 59th Venice Biennale. There are three Sami artists from Norway, Sweden and Finland who have been selected to show their art in the Biennale.
In an historic first, the Nordic Pavilion in Venice was transformed into 'The Sámi Pavilion', with a project commissioned by Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA). The Queen also visited the Danish, Canadian and British pavilions.

ردحذفThe Queen is sensational in her bright white mantel coat and blue top underneath (I guess they are a nod to the colours of the flags of Norway ,Sweden and Finland) and Princess Stephanie is so lovely dressed (maybe her blazer is just a bit tight).
The hair of both ladies are beautifully styled.
All the people around them look lovely as well.

Absolutely love that white cape. But more importantly, this Queen knows how to dress with style, always chic and classy. Never old fashioned or dowdy-looking. I love the design of her sunglasses.

ردحذفThe Queen looks smart, modern and stylish. She looks fabulous. Love the white coat, combined with the Navy pants, shoes and gloves, divine. The large dark pearl necklace, earrings and bracelet, are the perfect finishing touch. Her hair looks splendid, modern and very becoming. Her dress sense is wonderful, in-style and individual.

There is something I noticed that the people who are visiting the Venice Biennale
are dressed with coats and other warm clothes. Is it cold there too ?
