On Friday morning, April 22, 2022, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands attended the opening of the King's Games 2022 (Koningsspelen 2022) at Poptahof Community School in Delft. The 10th edition of the King's Games taking place this year revolves around the importance of togetherness with the theme "Feel fit!" (Voel je fit!).

Belle association du blanc-cassé entre ce gilet long porté sur une robe dont j'aimerais bien voir la ceinture ; il me semble que ces boucles d'oreilles en forme de coquillages ne doivent pas être très pratiques pour téléphoner à moins qu'elles ne soient à clips ! Maxima a dû reposer ses pieds dans ces jolies ballerines bi-colores mais je la préfère quand même avec des chaussures à talons !
ردحذفI agree with you about the flats, Tulipe33; they would look so much better underneath a pair of trousers. Photo 10, while walking, gives the best overview of QM's outfit and I must say, I like it on her. To me it seems her hair is a bit shorter than usual and this suits her.

Maxima looks great, beautiful outfit and her hair looks good too. One thing I would change are her shoes. Somehow that flat ones don't go well with the rest of her clothes or her legs look better on higher heels.

Agree that Maxima looks good and the outfit is a winner. The flats look awful with it, though. If the event and the terrain needed flat shoes, then perhaps she needed a different outfit, possibly trousers?
حذفIt's a lovely outfit but I'm not so sure flats are the best shoes to wear with it. The length of the coat and inner skirt requires a heel, even a small one.

You are not a queen (at least I suppose you aren't). Wearing high heels to do sports with children on the grass is not very comfortable.

I agree, she looks better and more rested than of late. She wears cream & white shades very well. The shoe debate rages, but this was an event requiring flats. I think she's a gem - never dull! Always nice to see her out and smiling.

Mi piace molto vestita così, anche il blocco di colore (adoro Dutti). Forse le scarpe sono troppo basse e legano poco con l’outfit, ma un motivo ci sarà se QM se non ha il suo tacco 15 😊

The outfit is very nice as are always almost all the Massimo Dutti, but the flat shoes don't go well with the length of the coat.

حذفI just wrote about Mary : "no" to sleeveless coats .... Maxima's one is much better. Look plenty of good reasons to wear flats here, look at where she is walking and what she is doing ... shooting with a bow.

Donot like the long “ gilet” at all: a shorter one in a colour matching the shoes and handbag would have made it a livelier combination and this one makes her very tall.

It is not a long "gilet". It is a sleeveless coat. I love the monochromatic look Maxima adopted since last fall and winter and she continues to do so in lighter colors. I prefer this than the sleeveless coat Mary wore.
حذفThe coat is beautiful. What I can see underneath, blends in well. Obviously she is wearing flats for a reason, good for her. She looked to be having a great time. Her enthusiasm, her ability to intermingle well and ' have a try at archery' excellent. She brings happiness and humor on her visits, and this engagement was no different. I think she is wonderful and a great asset to the King. Well done Queen Maxima.

Very lovely outfit and beautifully styled. Ballerinas are comfortable when you walk more, so good choice. She always look so engaged and seem to enjoy what she does.

I quite like the flats, its a welcome change from seeing the royal women tottering around on sky high heels and trying to appear to walk normally. The outfit, is well, different. Its nice in one way, yet in another its too formal for the occasion.
