  1. I've not seen this pant suit before. If it is vintage, it has stood the test of time. The colors are beautiful, the diagonal cut of the jacket adds extra interest, and the jacket and pants are perfectly tailored. Her red scarf is icing on the cake. The brooch is an example of a nautical knot. She and the Queen are very good about choosing brooches to match their patronages.

I am not a fan of plaid from head to toe, a solid colour pant would look better; having said that, Princess Anne has a slender figure and she can get away with it, she looks stylish which is rare for Anne. The cut of the jacket is very interesting, but I think the brooch is unnecessary and too large. It is time for Princess Anne to get a new hair style, she would look much younger, on a positive note, Anne has a beautiful smile like her mother.

  3. Love the jacket with the bright pop of colour in the buttons and the scarf. Then, I saw that sadly, it was a Queen Mathilde style suit with. matching check trousers. Pity as it would have looked so much better, in my opinion, with plain trousers or a skirt. The jacket is a winner anyway.

She probably reads this blog and is trying to be a little more up to date, but it is a misser again. Pants are too short. The jacket is a short version of a coat she has in another fabric. The collar is a copy of the collars we saw on coats and jackets in the sixtees. The fabric remembers a very heavy plaid. The shoes look like men's shoes. Then I prefer Queen Mathilde's checked clothes she wore lately.

    1. Process Anne reading this blog? I think she has many more things on her mind and I cannot imagine that she cares what we think of her clothing choices.

Maybe we should not care what kind of clothes she has chosen by simply not given comments any more.

Thank you for showing Princess Anne's work. It's also great to see that she shops her closet.

Princess Anne's work ? She is only the patron, the work is done by the doctors, the nurses and other crew members necessary on a ship.

She actually looks amazing, very unexpected nice suit. if she had worn heels similar to lady is grey suit, this would have been perfect.

    1. Can't explain why but I like her pant suit.
A step away from the usual for Princess Anne.

  8. This is a wonderful visit by the Princess Royal, she seemed engaging and happy, smiling broadly. I love the cut of the jacket, its unusual. The colours combined work well together. The brooch is divine. The overall look is smart and elegant. I admire her very much, she quietly gets on with the job, not looking for accolades, making a difference at each turn, with multiple engagements. An amazing woman and Princess.

Love the jacket, the pants are just too much, plain trousers would have been so much nicer.
