    1. The name is Tilia and is 9 years old.
The dog is the latest of Prince Henri's dogs.

    2. That is Tillia - she was prince Henrik’s dog - the queen adopted her, when he passed away.

  3. The warm tones of brown, black, gold and orange of Queen Margrethe's ensemble look perfect for a winter's day, and, the Dachshund's coat is a perfect match. I can visualize the queen sitting on the sofa with her beloved pet by her side. I love the placket of her jacket, and her amber colored jewels.

  4. I love how the dog has a crown on the tag. Queen Margrethe looks lovely in these colors, I especially like the coat bringing everything together.

Two beautiful pictures. Even the dog has a regal look about her sitting on that cushion.

The Q looks very comfortable in this homey setting. However, I don’t think that earth tones are very flattering to her colouring. They match the dog well though!

I thought exactly the same thing, V.M., even about her coordination with her cutie dachshund:)!
I love her outfit, especially that jacket she is wearing it with such flare.
In the pic by the window I covered her outfit with my hand and just had the deep red curtains showing next to her face and it brought out her cheeks, hair and tones so well. Then I covered the curtains and the orange and browns washed her out.
