On November 19, 2021, Belgian Queen Mathilde visited the Sint Franciscus nursing home in Vinkt. On the occasion of the Reading Week taking place from 20 to 28 November, 2021, the Queen read a few extracts from a book to an audience of both elderly and young people. The Reading Week is organized by Iedereen Leest (Everybody Reads), a non-profit organization aiming to inspire people to read and to make reading accessible for everybody.

    I like these trousers, great fit. I'm not a fan of the jacket over the shoulders, I wish people would just wear a cape instead of having the jacket arms hanging there. I love the color of the suit though. At first I wasn't sure about the blouse, but the more I look, the more I like it.

      I agree. The blouse ruins the beauty of the suit. She has so many blouses. I'm sure there must be some that fit.

    Le style du tailleur et la couleur corail/saumonée vont très bien à la Reine Mathilde, par contre cette blouse à carreaux est très mal assortie, un haut uni aurait été un meilleur choix.

    A different blouse and a'jacket worn as a jacket' and QM would have looked nice; now it's a 'no' to me.

    QM, sorry, but I'm just not a fan of the color of the suit, has nothing to do with you, the suit itself fits well, just dont' like the color. annie

    The suit is suited for spring. The blouse is suited for christmas. Together it is quite strange. I suppose it is possible to buy a suit without sleeves if you don't want to wear a suit with sleeves. Strange habit to wear it like Queen Mathilde does this time.
    But she really seems to be sweet, and to have a connection with those elder people.

    For the Lovely queen Mathilde I hope thuis suit will disappear miracously in the laundry, color is nog sluiting her at all.

    Can’t wait for the day when Natan is no longer delivering his bad taste, wrong colour, ill-fitting outfits to the courts in BeNeLux. Mathilde is a gorgeous woman, but needs a new supplier! Urgently
