J'aime le style et la couleur de l'ensemble que porte la Reine Sonja, mais pas la couleur de ses bas, ils auraient dû être de couleur naturel.

    1. I absolutely agree, Queen Sonja looks beautiful. That color is gorgeous, and the fit is perfect. Ms. Budenbender looks stylish and elegant.

The Queen looks wonderful, love her suit, style and rich colour suit her perfectly. Her shoes and stockings are a lovely match up.

  6. When I looked at pics from 3rd onward I thought : there will be criticism on the fitting (particularly the hemline) of the dress of the German First Lady, and I thought it would be normal, either the dress or the posture of the lady is inappropriate.

The two things that I'd change are the black stockings of Queen Sonja and the length of Mrs. Büdenbender's dress which is too short. It should end under the knee. Queen Sonja is wearing one of her pretty dresses in a color that suits her very well but she should wear panty hosen in a natural color.

Everybody uses black hose and when you are short and wear dark shoes you should always use dark hose. Your will then look taller.

  8. I'm glad that Mrs. Büdenbender is on shoes with heels again after her foot injury. Sadly her skirt pulls up awkwardly on the front for unknown reasons. And the shawl (which is lovely as such) in the same colour as the shoes would have been a better - and quite wonderful - match.

  9. queen Sonja is elegant and beautiful in this dress. The color suits her very well. It is surpricing that there is no grand galla dinner for the german president and his wife.

This is not a state visit therefore an official lunch.

  11. Oh yeah, skirtgate for the president’s wife. Not a good look, why is it so difficult for people to have well fitted clothes? Also the shawl is definitely not needed inside, a smaller silk shawl would have been better. Legs on the other hand look great and the shoes, super elegant.

Queen Sonja as usual perfection, with some exception noted on colour of stockings, also as usual. But she is over 80 and looks smashing
