On October 13, 2021, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary. On the occasion of the anniversary, the King and Queen released new photos. King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck got married to Jetsun Pema in a traditional Buddhist ceremony on October 13, 2011 at the administration centre, Punakha Dzong, in Punakha.
The King and Queen now have two sons. Their first son, Gyalsey Jigme Namgyel, was born in February 2016 and their second son, Gyalsey Ugyen Wangchuck in March 2020.
I can see what a marriage of love does : happiness ,strength, comfort and reassurance . Happy anniversary to this lovely couple.
