On October, 6, Queen Maxima attended a meeting at HKU Conservatory in Utrecht as honorary chair of More Music in the Classroom Foundation on the occasion of one year of the Music Trainers Agreement. On October 7, 2020, all teacher training universities and conservatories in the Netherlands signed the Music Trainers Agreement at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht, with which they entered into a long-term partnership of twelve years.
The Music Trainers Agreement is an initiative of the National Consultation Agency for Teacher Training in Primary Education, the Network of Music Teachers, the Training Consultation Agency in Music in Education, the Network Music (the network of conservatory directors) and More Music in the Classroom Foundation.
I like her suit, quite a good choice from Qn Maxima.
ReplyDeleteWell, has she been listening to all the comments re her hair. She looks well groomed and the suit is nice too. Miracles can happen km
ReplyDeleteFinally she is having a good hair day.

The huge yellow flower wrong in colour and in style, jacket too short, belt too wide and way too much orange. Looks like a big carrot with an autumn leaf stuck on top. - Ellie
ReplyDeleteYou got that right!

Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe royal house of Orange.
ReplyDeleteWonderful suit, beautiful colour and well tailored. Maybe the brooch is a little too much, but that's Máxima. Hair well done, together with her charming smile it's a prefect fashion day for the queen.
Agree 100% especially the touch of "Maxima" with the brooch.
DeleteBut tomorrow is another day and who knows what our "fun" Queen is going to present us with.
On the whole, Maxima looks good good. Her hair is nicely done and her makeup is subtle. Maxima has worn orange before and usually looks great in it. I think the tone of orange might not be the best for her, but this is a vast improvement over some of her more recent outfits. The belt isn't bothering me as much as it usually does because it disappears into the fabric. I don't understand the point of the huge gold flower. It is giving me holiday vibes, like something I might put on a Christmas gift. Her accessories are pleasantly simple except for that faux fleur. ~d
ReplyDeleteAutumnal colour story done well. Q Max is a ray of sunshine! This ensemble is perfect. Just perfect. No tweaks needed according to my sharp stylist’s eye.
ReplyDeleteCarry on, Q Max, carry on!

Lovely colour, she looks good!

Nice coiffure for Queen Maxima!
ReplyDeleteThe business- suit is good, but not a good colour for “ blond” women: it makes the overall impression to pale.
Also I would have preferred it with a wide flowing skirt: music was the topic today!

I like this suit, it fits her well, and of course orange has a meaning for the country. The whole outfit has a very fall/ October vibe to it. The flower on the lapel needs to go, it looks like Christmas tree decoración, in fact I have a few myself:-) Maxima, this pantsuits is both explosive and remarkable, why must you add huge accessories?

Superbe dans ce tailleur-pantalon - Choix judicieux que cette ceinture dont la largeur convient très bien à sa morphologie ; quel plaisir de voir une amélioration dans sa coiffure !
ReplyDeleteBrava! Maxima looks smart and chic in this well fitting suit and her hair is perfectly styled. The only thing that has to go is the Christmas poinsettia. I can't believe anyone, least of all her, would think of wearing such a thing. It's like a parody, lol.

Bellissima!!
ReplyDeleteI think she looks super and she is from the house of Orange now. I was sitting on the fence about that flower. My first reaction was WHY? Then I put my finger over that part of the photo and tried to be objective and not immediately think EEK! Now I honestly think it adds something to the look but I agree the jacket could have been longer. I do think however that one of those gigantic insect brooches she has would look look better and that tutti fruity bracelet should stay at home until her other wrist is healed. it just does not go with her watch
ReplyDeleteBeautiful suit for The House of Orange. Fits perfectly. Hair is perfect. I even like the large flower; it is very Maxima.
ReplyDeleteShe looks happy and engaged in the event. I like the suit, don’t love it, but if anyone could wear an orange suit, it’s Queen Maxima!
ReplyDeleteOn a side note, and I apologise if this is the wrong spot to ask a question, but Helen are you not following the engagements of the Duchess of Cambridge any more? I know you are a busy blogger, but the last post is still from July 2021.
An orange suit, with a gold Christmas poinsettia slapped onto the jacket. How quaint, and how strange it looks. I must be the only one that thinks this outfit looks odd, even for Maxima. clara
ReplyDeletePS: Dont put down my opinion, just because it's different than your perspective, its what makes the world go round, differing opinions.
DeleteSome stylists say you should always wear an eyecatcher, like a scarfe, a neckless or a brooch. I personally do not agree. The flower brooch does not add to the outfit.
I think so too, so you need not be defensive.
DeleteI think she tries with the flower to make a rather businesslike and severe suit more playful, IMO without succes.
Look to Letizia yesterday and see how a rather wel cut jacket doesnot need a belt.
Judy
That was my first reaction but honestly it truly grows on one. I even think I am beginning to really like that flower the more I look at it. It is at any rate refreshingly different. 1960's vibes returning in a more flamboyant mode.
DeleteEinfach rundum klasse!
ReplyDeletelisa
Well, a little bit hard to classify for me.
ReplyDeleteThe orange paintsuit is ok overall and a clear nod to the Royal House name but I would have chosen a brooch and not the giant flower.
Her hair looks better than on other occasions but still in need of good haircare products.
Like her shoes and her beautiful endless smile!

*A simple jewel brooch

@Mary Rodgers, it looks like it was a long vacation for The Duchess, but Helen has been posting her engagements since she returned to official events about 3 or so.
ReplyDeleteCherry
I like this quite a bit, even though there are some fit issues with the jacket. The colour is great on her, and the large flower on the lapel adds a touch of her signature exuberance without standing out too much. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteI' m so glad I've found this place. 😍 I thought i was the only one who' d noticed her poor, tired hair in the past. I think Maxima is using new hair products? Or supplements? Her hair looks so much healthier.
ReplyDeleteAnd she looks glorious as usual.
Bold and beautiful outfit on the most beautiful royal lady. Maxima has her own strong style. Most of the time she looks great in it. - Siri
ReplyDeleteAgreed. She is a beautiful, confident lady with a strong sense of duty to her country and a unique style. Very admirable.

Hi, caune, welcome!
ReplyDeleteNo, you' ve guessed right , Maxima' s hair needs lots of products, but I get the impression she does not care much about that.
I admire her a lot and wish she could improve both her outfits and hairstyle.
If I were her, I would begin with a complete Olaplex treatment and then go on with lot of hydrating and nourishing masks.
Her hair looks very dry and dull, probably due to all the bleachings she has done over the years
Here the effect is not bad because her hair is feathered.
Greetings.
P.
I love her crazy outfits!
DeleteEl mejor peinado en mucho tiempo. Podía llevarlo siempre así.
ReplyDeleteEl traje ok.
