King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia attended the annual gathering of the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) at the City Hall in Stockholm. There were about 300 guests from business world, academia and politics. The Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences works for a positive social development by promoting technical and economic sciences as well as by improving methods of business. The first part of the gathering was held in the Golden Hall at Stockholm City Hall. During the gathering, the King handed out the Academy's gold medals for 2020 and 2021.

Of course freedom of opinion, I feel surprised about the only few supportive comments. She is almost 78 years old, and in my view the most elegant one in her age category. She changed her old fur coat(s) for that elegant black cape, by the way not sure whether new or not; I wonder whether the fur is real one or not.
