The family bid farewell to their old home, the Akasaka Imperial Residence in Tokyo. At that residence, Emperor Naruhito has lived most of his life since 1960. When leaving, Crown Prince Akishino, the Emperor's younger brother, and Crown Princess Kiko, and personnel saw off the family.

  2. For many of us, their life is in another world.
Not much variation in their code of "fashion".
I think that Emperor Naruhito is trying to let a bit of leeway enter into their world whilst retaining and respecting their traditions. Not an easy job.
The outfit of Empress Masako is perfect.
However the outfit of Princess Aiko has a school uniform look about it.
