On August 28, Swedish Queen Silvia attended a gala concert held on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Anders Walls Foundation at the Royal Opera in Stockholm. Before the gala concert, the Anders Walls Foundation awarded scholarships to young talents in music. The Royal Opera reopened the opera house for the new season with the anniversary gala.
The Foundation arranged the gala concert with singers and instrumentalists who were awarded the Anders Wall scholarship at the beginning of their careers. The Foundation also supports scientific research, entrepreneurship and rural development.
