Angela Merkel visited Windsor Castle for a last official audience with the Queen after her meeting with Boris Johnson at Chequers.

حذفThey certainly do! If you watch any video clips of the event you can see it clearly there. The Queen even rushes to meet Mrs. Merkel at the door and Mrs. M even seems a little nervous which is unlike her. It's no secret that the Queen likes well educated, respectful, powerful women and the German Chancellor is no slacker in those departments. This meeting has a very good feel to it and you can see it.

Seeing Queen Elizabeth smiling so much at her engagements just makes me smile, they seem to be getting on quite well. I think the ruffle hemline on her dress is great. This dress just looks like a gorgeous painting. So summery and fun.

Agree with comments above. If you saw the TV footage, they did indeed look genuinely pleased to see each other. Nice to see variety from the straight dresses the Queen usually wears ant the pattern is lovely and summery
