On June 14, 2021, King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain attended the delivery of the first Medal of Honour of Andalucia to King Felipe VI of Spain, awarded by the Andalusian Government at San Telmo Palace in Seville. King Felipe received the first Andalucian region's medal of honor ever for being 'the best symbol of Spain's unity' from Andalusian regional President Juanma Moreno.

The King the first person to achieve this distinction because he "embodies the most solid affective bond of Andalucia with all the State institutions," according to the Regional Government of Andalusia.

Indeed! This is one of her best dresses yet, the colour looks wonderful on her. Just wish she had put on other earrings.

Less is more. Together with Kate by far the best dressed queen in Europe.

    1. Without a doubt the two best dressed royals I agree, not the two queens, Kate is not queen ...

    2. Letizia's sartorial choices are superb. For me she virtually never has misses and if she does they are always because she she is looking outside the box which is fabulous. She combines this with a heavy schedule as wife of the monarch and I so enjoy seeing her wonderful clothes.

¡Enhorabuena S.M.!

  7. What a gorgeous couple. It is unusual for them to show affection in public, but it is obvious that the Queen is very proud of her King, and his eyes reveal his pleasure at her touch. Letizia's dress is beautiful, and her nude shoes are perfect.

  8. J'aimerais mieux voir ses boucles d'oreilles demi-créoles ? Est-ce que ce sont des petits saphirs ?!

Love the femininity and elegant simplicity of this dress, which Letizia excels at. The dress itself is enough to create a whole look. I am, however, getting tired of "nude/praline/beige" shoes, which most royal ladies seem to wear with any and all color of outfits. Cream-colored, or even white, sling-back heels would have looked so much better here. They may have even matched the buttons: from what I can make out on the photos, the buttons are pearlescent, but maybe they are a silver tone? S.M.

Nude shoes make the leg look longer. That is why they are chosen so often. ~d

    Rhapsody in blue.

Sometimes there are ensembles which elude description. This is one such look.

Queen Letizia is a true fashion icon of our era. Her masterful, understated elegance needs little embellishment. Posture and confidence are the foundation for every single one of her looks. An innate sense of style does not depend on a certain budget or physique, rather a sense of knowing who you are and owning it fully.

Queen Letizia and King Felipe are a handsome royal couple, indeed.

This is one of my favorite dresses, the color not a pastel blue but more like a sky hue, the simple bodice with the jewel buttons, and the flattering fluid skirt. Simply gorgeous!!
The mystery remains, and nobody knows who made this dress…

    1. Hi Cherry, the tag under the pictures says Prada. But that's not true then? Or are the shoes Prada?
I've got to say I've no idea either, but you described it well: She looks awesome!

@Rosalyn, I believe the shoes may be Prada, but the maker of the dress is unknown, the Spanish press has been trying to figure out where it came from since she wore it the first time, some speculate that could be a private seamstress…
    Regards
    Cherry.
