Princess Martha Louise released a video message for World Down Syndrome Day

In her message, the Princess said: Happy World Down Syndrome Day. We are celebrating that everyone is equally unique. We are celebrating that we are all sad and happy, quirky and brilliant all mixed up in the bundle called being human. It has been a hard time for all of us where the activities that we love doing have ground to a halt, where the people we love are far away from us. And it’s hard. We are lonely.

But hopefully we now start seeing the light in the end of the tunnel and hope gives us courage to continue. Whatever the situation we have a good cause to celebrate today. Celebrate that we are equally unique. Happy Down Syndrome Day everyone!"

  1. Quel plaisir de la revoir très souriante - Elle a des yeux à tomber qui vont très bien avec la couleur de son corsage ; j'adore le dessin de ses sourcils !

  2. Commendable address. Two of my cousins were born with Downs. They are the most joyful people I have ever known.

Princess Martha Louise favors Queen Sonja. The color she is wearing accentuates the her beautiful blue eyes.

She has inherited her mother's beauty, that's for sure. As has been noted, the colour of her blouse/ dress really brings out her eyes, which are stunning but also very expressive, very genuine somehow.
Great cause and a very thoughtful message!
