Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg celebrates her 30th birthday today. The Princess was born in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on February 16, 1991. Her full title is Her Royal Highness Princess Alexandra Joséphine Teresa Charlotte Marie Wilhelmine, Princess of Luxembourg, Princess of Nassau and Bourbon-Parma. On the occasion of the 30th birthday of the Princess, The Grand Ducal Court shared a couple of photos from the private photo album of the Grand Ducal Family.
The Princess is the fourth child and only daughter of Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa. Princess Alexandra sometimes participates in the official activities of the Grand Ducal family and also works as a volunteer to help refugees. She is the royal patron of the Lëtzebuerger Blannevereenegung Foundation and the Lëtzebuerger Déiereschutzliga. The Lëtzebuerger Blannevereenegung Foundation works for the visually impaired and the Lëtzebuerger Déiereschutzliga works for the protection of animals.
A lovely young lady, best wishes to her! I regret very much not to hear about her. She was not even attending the baptism of little Charles. I hope she is doing well in live.

حذفA beautiful young woman. Her Mom looks so lovely, wish she would have chosen to age gracefully, naturally, there is something so inherently beautiful about an aging woman's face. The lines, little wrinkles, all showcase the laughter, tears, frustrations, love, trust, proud moments, but most of all, the love she has given and received in her lifetime.
ردحذفWhy are you beating up on Princess alexandra's mother Maria teresa and how do you know she has not ages gracefully. She appears to have lost weight and looks very good, do you know for sure she had work done. Quit assuming she chose to do something you have no proof of!
حذفFor me she always projects calm and serenity, even from a younger age, an internal beauty and grace, much like her father's whom she resembles a lot. Not much is known of her even here in Luxembourg, the royal children have always kept a very low profile (except for the Hereditary couple after their marriage) and I respect them even more for that, they go about their lives quietly and decently.

ردحذفWhat a lovely young lady. Happy birthday, Princess Alexandra. Anon 2:32's comments on the Grand Duchess seem unnecessary. As someone of a similar vintage, I regard her as an inspiration for growing old gracefully. From being quite dowdy and matronly a few years ago, she has lost weight and gained a fresh modern look in hair, make up and clothes. Good for her. Her clothing choices are not necessarily what I would choose and I'm not convinced that her very short hairstyle is necessarily always flattering but she looks brilliant for a woman in her mid sixties. And her daughter, whose special day it is, looks brilliant too
