Diane von Furstenberg Andi Mesh Midi Shirt Dress
Princess Sofia visited the Mandometer Clinic at Sophiahemmet
On January 28, 2021, Princess Sofia visited the Mandometer Clinic at Sophiahemmet in Stockholm. The clinic provides treatment services to people with eating disorders. The Princess visited the clinic for the first time in June 2019. There are four Mandometer Clinics in Sweden; three in Stockholm and one in Alingsås. About 1000 patients are treated or followed up at Mandometer Clinics each year.
Every Mandometer Clinic has eating labs, kitchen facilities, a dining room, a living area, study and activity rooms, a craft room, medical examination rooms and administration offices. Princess Sofia wore a new mesh midi shirt dress from Diane von Furstenberg.

looks like she is already in her 3rd trimester
ردحذفseems like they announced only 2 weeks ago!
They announced pregnancy on the 11th December. Due date is March/ April.
حذفNo kidding, 1:22pm. Maybe they gave a later date to throw the media off or maybe it's twins or maybe it's because it's baby #3, or... who knows. She looks good, the dress is very nice (maternity or otherwise). ~Laurel~
حذفA dress to be envious of: nice pattern, wonderful cut, great colors and the fabric flows softly and comfortably.
ردحذفPerfect for dark haired women. The boots and the dress are a match, even more so if they would have been darkbrown.
Agree.
حذفThe colors look great with Sofia’s coloring. Her eye make- up is really well done. Her eyes pop beneath her face shield.
E.B.B.
Agree, will Said.
حذفMask in Sweden? New obligation?
ردحذفPrincess Sofia in mask for the first time.
ردحذفIt's so irresponsible. Pregnant woman among people during pandemic.
ردحذفI was surprised to see that too... It is true that she and her husband already had the virus, but no one knows with certainty if and for how long the antibodies created by a first infection can protect you from catching it a second time... plus there is the risk of the mutated strains.... Whether you believe in the severity of COVID-19 or not, pregnant women in general need to be cautious when it comes to being exposed to any kind of virus. At least wearing the mask(s) was a responsible decision
حذفE.d'A.
Given that Sofia already had Covid 19 AND that they are taking the necessary precautions, I think that she is safe.
حذفI agree it's not wise behavior, although Sofia had already tested positive for the virus while pregnant. Even so, I'm not sure if this gives her 100% immunity or makes her non-contagious.
حذفIs somebody safe now?
حذفUnfortunately no. And she's pregnant.
So pregnant women are supposed sit home and go no where? I’m sure Sofia listened to the advice of her doctors and took the necessary precautions.
حذفTo be honest, as a woman I would like anything but to get pregnant in the pandemic! The doctor visits, the unnecessary contacts as a direct result, the birth itself, I wouldn't want to expose myself and my unborn child to that. And on top such a publicity job that my "favourite princess" is doing....no thanks. Frieda
حذف"So pregnant women are supposed sit home and go no where?"
حذفI think be carefull and responsible. Health is the most important thing ever.
Firstly, it's great to see a real life visit as opposed to a virtual one. Well done to Sofia for being there in person. Secondly, she is looking great here--the dress colours are lovely and the boots look fine with it--the sandals might have been an issue in the snow! Thirdly, my pregnant daughter-in-law is an obstetrician, due a little earlier than Sofia, I reckon, and in hospital clinics every day. If Anon 5:27 was depending on her services would she consider her irresponsible, I wonder? Likewise there are pregnant women working in schools, in nurseries, in shops and many other settings. Naturally, they take recommended precautions but it is quite wrong to label them irresponsible or unwise.
حذفThey are being careful and responsible by following the advice of their doctors and taking necessary precautions. Pandemic or not, many pregnant women don’t have the option of staying home.
حذفPregnants woman are on maternity leave not at work.
حذفEspecially during pandemic. I hope child will be healthy anyway.
Not all countries give the same amount of maternity leave. In the U. S., it’s 6 weeks.
حذفShe's a Princess. She can more than other woman.
حذفI think they all did a Test.
حذفSophiahemmet Högskola alumni are you there?
ردحذفDid you meet Princess during diploma ceremony?
حذف"Bloomin' loverly"
ردحذفShe looks good, but it’s certainly added risk for her to be out and about. Even if she still has antibodies. And no comments from anyone on her cradling her bump. Maybe we’re getting civilized. That would be quite good, indeed. Or maybe it’s just the usual discrimination. Oh well.
ردحذفLily A
I noticed that as well. I am going with the usual discrimination.
حذفCradling her bump?
حذفApart from the placement of her hand in the last photo, I didn't think she was doing the ghastly celeb "look at me I'm pregnant" thing of cradling the the baby bump. Also as Anon 3:59 points opt, she has chosen a standard comfortable dress which disguises the bump, apart from in the side on photos. Sadly there's not much you can do about by the third trimester! :)
حذفI loved holding and caressing my bump. It was an expression of the overwhelming love I felt for my unborn children. Sometimes it was a massage because the discomfort I felt when skin was stretching or baby was kicking a little too hard. It has nothing to do with celebrity. Where do these ideas come from?
حذفI love this DVF dress. It works well as a maternity dress. I really like that she is not restricting herself to maternity wear. The print is really nice and the dress looks great with boots.
ردحذفI can't say that I would have made the same choice that Sophia did by making this visit, but I also don't agree with the Swedish government's handling of COVID. The fact that she is wearing a mask and face shield for some or most of the visit shows far more precautions than we have seen in the past, that I would assume are due to her pregnancy. Unfortunately, this is probably the accepted recommendation in Sweden. It is safe to assume that she would never deliberately do anything to endanger her unborn child. Sweden just has a different way of handling the pandemic.
She looks lovely. I like the dress, it works well as a maternity dress. Boots and coat are nice. Nice to see a block heel.
ردحذفI think she looks just like you´d expect at 7 months.
As for covid protection - I assume they were discussing options without being mandated to use any of them. There are photos of them all sitting together and no-one wearing anything. Personally, I find the mask and face shields ridiculous, especially together, and clearly no-one there cared about distancing, gloves or other things you´d expect to go along with the the kind of face protection they´re wearing, instead we see people eating with their hands, chewing their nails, walking on their socks. If there really was a killer virus out there, you wouldn´t see any of that, but if masks/face shields makes anyone feel safer, then good for them I guess.
Vanessa, the main transmission factor is aerosols. Aerosols and again aerosols. And they are treacherous. Masses of aerosols escape when you laugh, when you shout, speak loudly or take a deep breath. Hand washing and surfaces are almost negligible. That's why a facemask is recommended for the aerosols and a face visor for the larger droplets, also as a protection that the droplets don't find their way from one person into the mucous membranes of the eyes of somebody else. Ridiculous or not....Sofia did everything right, probably also for her unborn child. Better more safety than negligence and talking down the threat. Frieda
