On December 2, Queen Maxima opened the National Year of Voluntary Efforts 2021 in The Hague. The event is held under the slogan People Make the Netherlands and voluntary organizations are drawing more attention nationally to the connecting value of voluntary work. Voluntary work contributes to solutions for social issues such as loneliness, poverty and the need for help and care.

  1. Top ok, trousers horrible..........not match/flattering with her figure.......hair..... she had gray hair and therefore is extremely coloring it....... please stop, and have a hair cut, else within a couple of years it's done......except you are not 30 anymore........

  2. Je trouve que son haut Natan dans un tissu plus fluide et avec un pantalon Bordeaux serait plus élégant tout en gardant le sac et les escarpins de couleur grise !

    1. What is wrong with Natan? This week we saw 2 wonderful tops of Máxima and a lovely one from Mathilde. All Natan. With Máxima its often the combination that makes it sometimes messy or " too much",, but that's her own selection

    2. An acceptable Natan garment is a rare find, like a needle in a haystack. When dressing Queens, they should be going out of their way to make sure the style and fit is impeccable for each body type. "Natan" should have the courage to speak up when a garment does not suit the wearer (queen) and suggest something better. Obviously, that does not happen. Both Maxima and Mathilde have difficult bodies to dress. They are rarely dressed to their best advantage, and when Natan is involved, it makes their clothes look even worse.

  4. I suspect Natan is making her masks as wel. l APPALING they are badly made, don't fit properly and no-one has shown her how to remove a mask so as not to contaminate yourself or others. There are several excellent mask making videos and patterns out there on internet . Why is it so difficult for her to get a properly fitting set made. If she promises to brush her hair I will make them for her as a volanteer. I don't live that far from where she lives.

  5. Like the top, dislike the messy, dirty looking hair. The pants have to go, that wide cuff is just too much.

  6. I like this combination of soft colours and textures very much, and her accessories are perfect. One small quibble is the length of the top, which seems too short for someone of Q.Max’s height, especially worn with trousers. (V.M.)

  7. 1. The white-gray combination was better.
    2. Too bad she didn't put half the jewelry away.
    3. Poor, ridiculous, unhealthy hair. Someone should finally tell her.

  8. If only the trousers were a darker color, like navy, and take away that ridiculous huge cuff at the bottom. The top does have a nice pattern, but the length is not flattering. Needs to be a little longer. She needs to learn the lesson of checking the mirror and removing something before she leaves the house, in this case some of that jewelry.
And for giggles, I will just say a big NO to that mop on her head.

  9. Please everyone , try not to be so critical of her hair. It's her hair so she can do whatever. Besides, if the Dutch people feel offended they will let her know. Please keep this forum sane and not too negative.

    1. Maybe the continual comments about her hair are for the blind visitors of the blog.

Oh, I guess Maxima already knows this site. She surely reads us every day and given the fact that she is very clever, she accepts our irony with her beautiful smile.

  10. I liked both of her tops today and the trousers were fine. In fact everything was an improvement including the hair.

    1. Just love those trousers with their exaggerated cuffs. But against the trousers, the blouse is too conservative. She should have gone over the top with that too.

  11. I love this top, but imo it belongs as the upper half of a beautiful suit, that was for some reason misguidedly paired with these grey pants. I wish Maxima would just stop wearing pants, and I wish Mathilde would also stop wearing pants also, because they just never look attractive in them. It’s not always a matter of tailoring— I’ve just literally never seen either of these beautiful women in a pair of pants that looked as good on them as a skirt would have looked. (This will probably rile the many ardent pants enthusiasts out there...)

    1. You are not wrong. I think longer tops could possibly save a terrible trouser situation, and no more belts!

  12. Still like the trousers, including the cuffs, but looked much better with the cream sweater. This top is not flattering. It cuts off at the wrong level making her look much broader hipped than necessary.

  13. Loved both outfits, the morning one with the white top and this one also. Love the shoes and bag and the earrings and bracelet.
    Hair looks very good.

Is there anybody willing to do some ironing for Maxima?
    Trousers and mask: astonishing.
    Hair: ...
    Shoes and bag: great .
Desperately seeking for a bra and a spanx.

  19. Natan... love it. The material for the top is amazing up close; what u can’t tell in a photo is the texture n looks like silk material. Fab...

  20. Natan, it should be prohibited especially in women as voluminous as Máxima or Mathilde. Everything is like a carnival without taste.
