How very good to see our abdicated Queen again!
As always a splendid outfit in a beautifull colour.

  2. Elégante toute vêtue de vert pour cette visite - Très mignons les petits pompons sur sa large étole. Il n'y a qu'elle pour porter ce genre de chapeaux, ce qui n'est pas donné à tout le monde !

  3. Princess Beatrix looks beautiful. Love the emerald color of her ensemble. Her cape/shawl with the pompoms is whimsical and drapes nicely. Her unique styled hat has a nice texture and sheen. If you saw it in a shop window you would automatically think of her. It's good to see her out and about.

  5. Princess Beatrix looks fabulous.
I love this color very much. I've been drawn to it for as long as I can remember. A cold blue-green. It flatters almost everyone and gives a pale, soft winter complexion.

There is only one small thing inconsistent:
The tights could have been darker.

    1. Yes, they are part of her signature look. A few years back I frequented a fashion blog where they were referred to as Beatrix’s “cake hats”, lol.

I was immediately drawn to this outfit because of the pom poms. I have always had an affinity for them. I think Beatrix looks amazing here. This rich green color is beautiful. Each piece is well suited to her, together making a very lovely ensemble.

  13. This is how you do “Queen” ... I often read that Máxima dresses so over the top because she must look like a real queen, but looking at these pictures one can see that you don’t need to throw everything on you in order to look regal.
    Beatrix looks fantastic !!
