GABRIELA HEARST Capote Wool-blend Dress
The Countess of Wessex joined a virtual roundtable with civil society organisations
On September 29, 2020, The Countess of Wessex joined a virtual roundtable with Minister of the Armed Forces James Heappey and members of Civil Society organisations to discuss the continued integration of Human Security into military operations. The Countess wore a new wool-blend dress from Gabriela Hearst.
This lovely dress suits Sophie with her blond hair very well.
ReplyDeleteC Sophie looks great! One of her best day looks, ever. Comfortable, flattering, photogenic style. Lovely hairstyle, as well.
ReplyDeleteWell done, indeed.

I agree.
DeleteI think the dress looks better belted
ReplyDeleteVery nice dress... on the model; not sure I really like it on the Countess, the top seems to be too tight. For me it would work better on a slimmer woman with dark hair. ~Laurel~
ReplyDeleteAgree with Laurel; have reservations about the dress on Sophie. The top section is too tight, and the look might have been better if the dress were considerably bigger; the model's dress goes down to her waist, but Sophie's climbs much higher, because it's too small. - I don't like the dress as such on the model either. But I always like Sophie's relaxed manner on her visits! - Ellie
DeleteThe Duchess looks great, this is a lovely dress. Her choice of jewellery is spot on, love the necklace with pearl drop.
ReplyDeleteNice dress. It’s a bit tight on top.

I think she looks great, this is a very cute dress. She looks great
ReplyDeleteSophie looks great, but not sure that the dress suits her.
ReplyDeleteDress is too casual and 'summery' even though it's in wool. The top portion a little snug for Sophie's figure and the waistline is different than the model, (higher), maybe due to Sophie's age/figure, not sure. Sophie's hair looks good in these photos. Not sure about the color of bag, it does not fit the colors of the dress. Since we did not see her shoes, it leaves us wondering what she wore.
ReplyDeleteJe n’aime pas les encolures ras du cou qui engonce un peu ,je préfère l’encolure du teeshirt blanc que portait la duchesse de Cambridge la semaine dernière,cela allonge le cou et surtout est plus féminin .
ReplyDeleteIs your reaction for French readers only?
DeletePlease be polite and try English, it isnot my own language either but at least I try and I think so should you!
Maybe you are new here? While it is kind of you to use English; not everyone is proficient. I can read French better than I can write it and would not feel comfortable posting in French. I am even worse in other languages. I can fully understand the position of each person posting in languages other than English. As this blog is all-inclusive, and we are accustomed to using Google Translate here. That is the polite thing to do.
DeleteAnon 12:46pm - Or you could just do what probably a lot of us do and copy these non-English comments into Google Translate. It's easy and takes only a few seconds. Thanks. ~Laurel~
ReplyDeleteIt's a nice dress but I'm not sure about the fit of the top part. Sophie looks good - I like her hair here.
ReplyDeletebeautiful necklace, I think this is the first time we saw this pearl pendent.
