Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway turned 47 today. On the occasion of the birthday, the Royal Palace released a new photo of the Crown Princess. Mette-Marit met Crown Prince Haakon at Quart Festival in Kristiansand. The couple got married on August 25, 2001 at Oslo Cathedral. After her marriage, she acquired the title, Her Royal Highness the Crown Princess of Norway. The couple has two children. Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus.
