On July 10, 2020, King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Haro towns of La Rioja province, which are two of the towns in La Rioja most affected by the corona pandemic. Haro is known for its fine red wine and has an important architectural heritage.

Santo Domingo is a small town in La Rioja. It’s where people stop off on the ancient pilgrimage route from France and visit the Cathedral of Santo Domingo de la Calzada.

Great outfit. I love how Letizia’s jacket picks up some of the colors in the wine barrels. Her ponytail is well- styled.

  3. Tenue élégante dont la veste aux motifs modernes tricolores peut se porter également avec une jupe ; très chic avec les espadrilles compensées noires à nouer sur la cheville déjà portées !

This jacket is always a winner, and she has styled it the same way each time.
One of the fascinating things about her is that sometimes you recognize the theme in her outfits where she chose colors of the country, town or company she is visiting to incorporate into her outfit. Her curiosity at each stop is charming.
In full length pictures, all of the ladies wore espadrilles. Quite an assortment of styles. Belle

That mask doesn't fit all that well, now, does it? That side view is a shocker. I'm guessing she likes her oxygen. ~Laurel~

Yeah, breathing is a human right. Masks completely prevent that.

Laurel, your comments are so juvenile , reminiscing of high school mean girls. Get a life, live your life, and stop bring ridiculous.

What an ignorant and foolish thing to say, Anon 2:57. If masks completely prevented breathing, there would be millions of doctor, nurses, painters, construction workers etc dying every day! Masks do slow the spread of this deadly disease. Know the facts, learn from those who have studied these types of viruses for years!!

It's called sarcasm, Meghan. I absolutely disagree with Laurel and her ridiculous comments about masks.

I'm perfectly aware of the benefits of masks but thank you so much for your helpful input (oops, more sarcasm)

Have a nice day. (Question - am I being sarcastic here?)

Good for Letizia. Hopefully she understands how dangerous it is to breath your own C02. The virus is far too small to be trapped by the mask anyway. Many, many people are going to develop lung conditions by doing something that is supposed to protect against a virus that causes lung problems. Utterly ridiculous. Our policies are being driven by politics, not science.

  7. This is a very classy outfit. I loved this jacket the first time she wore it. It blends in so well in her surrounds. The brown tones are superb. Love the pants they fit well.
